British Championships weekend

16 members travelled to Yorkshire for the first championship event that has been split over 3 days -

On Saturday the mixed sprint relays took place at Bradford College.

We had 1 team - 1st leg Ellie Bales, 2nd leg Rob Holdway, 3rd leg Dave Bales, 4th leg Elizabeth Bales. They were a creditable 16th place in the Open class.

On Sunday it was the long distance at Kilnsey. The best results were: Rob Holdway, 3rd on M35L. Ellie Bales 4th in W20E, Alison Corbett 4th W50S, Jean Rostron 6th on W75, Rich Pigott 8th on M40L.

On Monday the relays were held at Middleton Park in Leeds. We just had 1 team, the Bales family who came 9th in Ad-Hoc class.
